ロシアのウクライナ侵攻をテーマに作品を描きました。

普段はファンタジー要素の強い作品を制作していますが、

今回の出来事があまりにも衝撃的で胸を痛めたため、何か表現したいと思い、事実を基にした作品を制作しました。 

戦争が続く中で「どう描くべきか」、迷う場面も多くありましたが、

「少しでもウクライナの人々に寄り添いたい」という想いを込め、

今の自分にできる最善の形で表現しました。

 

I created this artwork based on the Russia–Ukraine war.
I usually make works with strong fantasy elements, but this event was so shocking and painful that I felt I needed to express something about it.

While the war continues, I often felt unsure about how to depict it.
But I put my feelings into the work, hoping to stand even a little closer to the people of Ukraine.

This is my best expression of what I can do right now.
